about

Samuel Beckett's 'The Unnameable' ends with a sentence that begins:
'You must go on.
I can't go on.
You must go on.
I'll go on.'

'I can't go on, I'll go on...' is another excerpt from the up-coming installation work, '26 Suicides'. 26 Suicides is a 27 chapter, non-narrative new media installation art work. It is the personal and intimate testimony of BK's synesthetic life.

The 26 Suicides installation uses 10 audio (surround) sound channels and 8 video channels to deliver an enveloping, synesthetic experience. The tracks here on Bandcamp are excerpts.

lyrics

'You must go on.
I can't go on.
You must go on.
I'll go on.

You must say words, as long as there are any - until they find me, until they say me.
(Strange pain, strange sin!) You must go on. Perhaps it's done already.
Perhaps they have said me already.
Perhaps they have carried me to the threshold of my story, before the door that opens on my story.
(That would surprise me, if it opens.)

It will be I?
It will be the silence, where I am?
I don't know, I'll never know: in the silence you don't know.

You must go on.
I can't go on.
I'll go on.'

about

BK Australia

BK makes dangerous modern art.

As a synesthete, BK experiences sound and vision as a jumbled, blended mix. The art is all about trying to externalize that experience.
